This guide will walk you through everything you need to know. From the interface and core systems to combat and progression, I'll show you the most important features and give you a few tips so you can start your adventure prepared and make the most of launch day. If you're looking to get a head start on your progression, you can buy Raven 2 Crystal to enhance your gear and accelerate your journey through the game's many systems.
Before you even take your first step into the world of RAVEN2, it's crucial to understand the layout of your screen. The interface is packed with useful tools, and knowing where everything is will save you valuable time.
Character Info: You'll see your character's level, core stats, and any active buffs.
NPC Quick Navigation: Below your character info is a handy list of NPCs (Non-Player Characters). You can instantly teleport or navigate to them with just one tap—a huge time-saver when you're turning in quests or visiting the shop.
Located just below the NPC list, this is where you can invite friends, form parties, and manage your group for dungeons or world bosses.
This is one of RAVEN2's most player-friendly features. You can activate it once every 24 hours, and your character will continue to play automatically for 12 hours—gaining experience and farming while your phone's battery is saved. It's perfect for those times when you can't play actively but don't want to fall behind.
Chat Window: Multiple tabs let you filter between global chat, party chat, whispers, and system messages.
Camera Settings: Right next to the chat, you'll find three camera options:
Top-down Diablo-style angle – Classic isometric view.
Over-the-shoulder view – More immersive, closer to your character.
Free camera – Full control to look around the beautiful world.
Experience Bar: Tracks your progress toward the next level.
Quick Slots: Dedicated slots for health potions, mana potions, and scrolls for quick access during combat.
Skill Bar: All your active abilities are here, ready to be tapped in the heat of battle.
Menu Icons: This is your gateway to the game's deepest systems. Let's explore them one by one.
The first icon opens the events menu. Even in the test version, RAVEN2 was packed with events—especially for free-to-play players. Let's hope the global version is just as generous. Daily logins, progression rewards, and limited-time events will keep you stocked with valuable items.
Let's address the elephant in the room: microtransactions. RAVEN2 does have a shop, and it's fairly extensive. However, based on the test version, there are still plenty of free rewards through events and gameplay. You can absolutely enjoy the game and progress without spending money—it just might take a little more time.
This is where you customize your combat style. You can:
Create different skill setups for PvE (Player vs. Environment) and PvP (Player vs. Player).
Upgrade abilities using materials you collect from monsters, dungeons, and quests.
Stores all your gear, consumables, and crafting materials. Keep it organized—you'll be collecting a lot!
Skins in RAVEN2 aren't just for looks—they provide real combat benefits. Equipping a skin increases your attack speed, which can make a noticeable difference in battle. You primarily obtain skins from summon cards, so there's an element of luck involved. And trust me, they look amazing—especially the legendary ones.
Your faithful companions do more than follow you around. They grant bonus experience, and higher-tier companions can provide up to a 100% EXP boost. That's massive for leveling faster. Plus, they're adorable (or terrifying, depending on which one you get).
If you end up with duplicate skins or companions, don't worry—you can combine them. Four items of the same tier give you a chance to create one item of a higher rarity. For example, four blue-rarity items can become a heroic-rarity item. It's a great way to climb the rarity ladder over time.
Here you can upgrade your equipment to increase its stats. But be careful: from +9 and above, there's a risk of destroying the item if the enhancement fails—unless you use special protection stones. These stones are valuable, so save them for your best gear.
Think of this as a living encyclopedia. You collect and register items—gear, materials, even monster drops—to earn permanent stat increases. The more you collect, the stronger you become, even when you're not actively wearing the items.
RAVEN2 offers three types of quests:
Main Quests: The core storyline, rewarding you with experience and essential gear.
Side Quests: Optional but worthwhile, offering extra loot and lore.
Hidden Quests: Secret missions that reward curious explorers with rare items.
Defeating monsters and exploring new areas fills your Bestiary. Each entry grants bonus stats, encouraging you to hunt down every creature and visit every zone.
Unlocked at certain levels, Heaven Stones are special items that grant powerful effects like:
Faster attack speed
Extra damage
Mana regeneration
Choosing the right Heaven Stone for your build can dramatically improve your performance.
Stigma works similarly to Heaven Stones but focuses on base stats. You upgrade it using shards obtained from dismantling unwanted items. Boosting stats like HP and Endurance through Stigma makes you significantly tougher in battle.
Stellas are stones that fit into specific equipment slots. You can combine and enhance them to create unique builds tailored to your playstyle. Whether you want to be an unkillable tank or a glass-cannon damage dealer, Stellas let you fine-tune your character.
Crafting in RAVEN2 is extensive. You can create a wide variety of items, including:
Summon boxes
Event materials
Gear components
Consumables
Most materials drop from monsters, so there's always a reason to go out and farm. If you enjoy gathering and creating, you'll find plenty to keep you busy.
The market allows player-to-player trading—and best of all, no real money is required. You can buy and sell items freely using in-game currency. This is a fantastic feature for free-to-play players, letting you earn gold by selling rare drops or crafted goods.
RAVEN2 offers a variety of dungeons with time limits and different reward focuses:
EXP Dungeons: Great for leveling.
Gold Dungeons: Farm currency here.
Upgrade Stone Dungeons: Collect materials for enhancing gear.
You can even extend dungeon time using special clock items that drop in-game, giving you more chances to loot rare rewards.
Joining a guild unlocks:
Guild Bosses: Fight powerful enemies with your guildmates.
Guild Rankings: Compete against other guilds for prestige.
Guild Events: Special activities with exclusive rewards.
In future updates, additional modes like Union, Rift, and Abyss will expand the endgame content even further. These modes promise tougher challenges and better rewards for players who've reached max level.
Throughout the world, powerful World Bosses spawn at certain times. You can teleport to them and fight solo or with a party. They drop rare and valuable items, making them a must-do activity for any serious player. Keep an eye on the clock and gather your friends when one appears!
In the menu, you'll also find:
Achievements: Milestone rewards for your accomplishments.
Rankings: See how you stack up against other players.
Hall of Fame: Celebrate the top players on your server.
Combat Record: Review recent PvP battles to analyze your performance and improve.
When it comes to gameplay, RAVEN2 looks and feels fantastic. Combat is fast, smooth, and visually impressive. Abilities flash across the screen with satisfying effects, and the controls are responsive—whether you're tapping skills or using a controller.
The graphics are high quality, even on mid-range phones. The world is detailed, character models are sharp, and animations are fluid.
In the settings menu, it's worth experimenting with performance modes. I found that turning off "performance priority" often gives the best balance between smoothness and visual detail. Test a few options to see what works best on your device.
Activate Offline Mode Before Bed: Since it's on a 24-hour cooldown, pop it on before you sleep to maximize your EXP gain.
Join a Guild Early: The benefits start adding up immediately, and you'll make friends to tackle dungeons with.
Save Protection Stones: Don't use them on low-level gear. Wait until you have equipment you'll keep for a long time.
Do Your Dailies: Dungeons and events reset daily. Consistent play adds up quickly.
Experiment with Builds: Use the skill tab to try different setups. What works in solo PvE might fail in PvP.
